ASOLO PROSECCO SUPERIORE DOCG

The growing area for the grapes used in the production of the DOCG Asolo Prosecco wines is found in the Province of Treviso in the area between Monte Grappa and the Piave river. Asolo Prosecco, a traditional sparkling wine from the right hand side of the river Piave in the province of Treviso, has been DOC since 1977 and DOCG Superiore since 2009. There are just 500 hectares of vineyard here making it a small, high quality cru of Prosecco from a brilliant tradition based on courageous choices. It is interesting to note that Asolo has the most restrictive production regulations of all the DOC and DOCG Prosecco wines.

The wine is available in the following versions: “Colli Asolani or Asolo – Prosecco” Still, “Colli Asolani or Asolo – Prosecco” Semi-sparkling, and “Colli Asolani or Asolo – Prosecco” Sparkling.
